This lovely woman was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother that is missed terribly. She was the adored wife of Ray, and the mother of five children, Robert, Lawrence, Kathy, Kristie and Jackie, the grandmother of eleven, and now she has five wonderful great grandchildren.

Deloris was the daughter of Wayne Anthony Kizer and Myrtle Agnes Sanders. She had one brother and two sisters. One sister, Jewell, predeceased her at 12 years of age. Deloris' daughter, Kristie, drown in the neighbors pool at age 2.

Deloris was always available for her children and grandchildren. Even as her illness progressed, she attended football games, births, wedding or any family gathering.

Deloris died of ovarian cancer. Her family was at her side. The day of her burial, her youngest daughter, Jackie, gave birth to a little girl, Lexie Faye.

Deloris was one of my childrens mother in law.

Update: On June 21, 2007, a new great grandson, Brody, (pictured here), was born. Twelve hours later, on June 22nd, a new grandson, Devin, came into the world. Then, a year later, on July 31, a great grandson, Riley Christian was born. Deloris would have been ecstatic.
