I just received the following e-mail

Hi there: I was in the Old North Church Cemetery in Andover yesterday and I noticed an additional inscription on the back of Mary Hilton's stone...it reads (to the affect, I forgot the exact wording but will get a picture for you if you'd like!) "niece of Maj. Gen. Henry Dearborn, body stolen after burial"....I found this quite interesting and wanted to find out if you know anything about this?? Thanks! Karey. This bears further sleuthing.

"One grave in the old North Church Cemetery at East Andover has no tenant, for the body of Mary Wadleigh Hilton was stolen by grave robbers on the night of the burial and presumably taken to the medical college at Hanover." >History of Andover, New Hampshire, 1900-1965 by Ralph G.
