Mary Weir Dwyer, of Round O, beloved mother and wife, left this world for Heavenly rest on the morning of January 15, 2009.

She was the daughter of Francis and Lucy Driscoll Weir.

Mary graduated from Pittsfield High School and worked briefly for General Electric. She and the children moved extensively with her husband on U.S. Navy assignments within and outside the United States in California, Georgia, South Carolina, Hawaii and the Philippines.

She was the widow of Gerald Paul Dwyer, Sr. and is survived by one son, Dr. Gerald P. Dwyer, Jr. and wife, Katherine, of Lawrenceville, GA; three daughters, Jeanne Berent and husband, Richard G., of Holly Springs, NC, Janet McEachern and husband, Gary, of Goodyear, AZ, and Joanne Dwyer-Willis and husband, Wayne, of Round O; two sisters, Anne Elizabeth Williams and Joyce Kalinowsky, both of Pittsfield, MA; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
