Mrs. Maria Dinkel, 86, died at her home in Pinckney Sunday after an illness extending over a period of years. She was formerly Maria Lakin. Her husband, Valentine Dinkel, died about 20 years ago. Surviving are 4 sons, John and Eugene of Pinckney, Albert of Chubbs Corners and Otto of Sioux City, Iowa. A son, Walter, and a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Dunbar, are deceased. Mrs. Dinkel was a member of the Pinckney M.E. church and the local OES chapter No. 145.
The services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Community Congregational Church, Rev., J. McLucas officiating. Burial was in Pinckney cemetery.
