Dorothy Pegg, 97 years, passed away peacefully, with her loving daughter by her side, on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia. Dorothy was the wife of the late Albert Pegg (1992). Loving mother of Shirley Johnston, and the late Keith Pegg (2006). Cherished mother-in-law to Lynn Pegg. Grandmother of Vicky (the late Keith, 1999) Butler, Cindy (Del) Johnson, Janet (Norman) Minielly, Jeff Tanner (Carol Ford), Kelly (Bill) Van Ruitenburg, and Sherry Pegg (Lee Charlton). Dorothy will be missed by her fifteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Amos and Mary Kerr, her brothers, Frank, Lorne, and Wilson, and her sisters, Hilda, Norma, Jean and her twin sister Doris. Also predeceased by her sons-in-law Earl Tanner (1983), Wayne Johnston (1993), and Don Workman (2008). Dorothy was loved very much and will be forever remembered. Visitors will be received at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME , Petrolia on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
