Matthew Mickelson Butman, 14, of Garland, Texas passed away at his home on Friday, November 1, 2013 surrounded by friends and family. Matt was born on December 21, 1998 in Des Moines Iowa. He had many hobbies including watching TV, playing on his iPad, video games, his family, and of course girls. Matthew leaves behind his mother, Gianna Butman; his father, B.J. Butman; his sisters, Michelle, April and Jessica; his grandparents, Bill and Peggy and host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Matthew has truly been proof that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by moments that take our breath away.
