Richie was the son of Ewald and Florence Sukkert. He had 4 sisters, Ginger (Gartmann), Sandy (Lewandowski), Pat (Casper) and Terry (Williams). He married Karen Karpinski on June 20, 1964. He was preceded in death by his son Richard Kevin Sukkert (SIDS)in 1964. Rich and Karen have 2 beautiful daughters, Deb (Steve) Lewis and Lori (Mike) Lipke. They have 5 grandchildren that Rich would be very proud of. They are Brad and Kelly Lipke and Carly, Megan and Mitchell Lipke. Rich loved his family dearly.
He died suddlenly from a heart attack from coronary artery disease. He worked at Harley Davidson for many years and was well liked and respected. He had many dear friends and neighbors. His entire family was involved in the Model A Club.
