jona went to be with the lord in may of 1944 at lee county community hospital in pennington gap, virginia. she died from complications of a stroke. she is the wife of george washington cloud, and children are bill, general grant, earl, james, roy (deceased at 18 months), eppie cloud ashburn, twins marie and garland, ben, and of the home, gracie, flora mae, and lee. she was a homemaker and of the baptist faith. she and wash were christians their entire life and that's the way they raised their children. she is survived by several grandchildren. jona was a gentle, sweet woman who always did for others and never spoke an ill word against anyone. she's remembered for her beauty inside and out.
