Spring and her sister, April, were walking down Montgomery blvd in Albuquerque, NM when a vehicle approached them. The driver at first slowed and motioned for them to cross the entrance to an apartment complex, but as they started to walk the driver accelerated and ran both of the girls over killing Spring. She was buried in a pink Motley Crue t-shirt. This is still an unsolved murder in Albuquerque. Sadly, April passed away on May 25, 1997 of an apparent drug overdose.
