A big thank you to Ed Leffew, who sponsores Brenna's grave site page.

Bren was an extraordinary human being. She would've given you her last crust of bread if she knew you were hungry.

She was killed by a 50 yr old parolee who she had let stay with her after his release from prison.

He was using Bren's bank card to steal money from her account. She found out and confronted him. I guess it was too hard for him to apologize, so he stole her life, too.

She was supposed to go to a family dinner that day and, when she didn't show up, her family went looking for her. They found her 2 yr old son in his bed crying, but they couldn't find her so they took her son, Patrick, and went
back to their house to wait awhile longer.

When she still didn't show up, they went back to the house and made a more thorough search. Her Dad found her in her walk-in closet with the items from the shelves dumped on top of her. (I'm not sure why they didn't find her
immediately, because I had been in that closet and Bren always kept it very neat.

The murderer then escaped to the NE US, to be found days later dead of an apparent suicide.

Sunlight will never be the same.
