Carolyn was the only child born to George Franklin and Lillie Mae (Pauley) Darrow. She married (1) Maynard Solomon Bean, Jr. in 1924 and they had eight children: Maynard Lee, Sylvester Owen, Richard Dave, Thomas Franklyn, Vernon Wayne, Carroll Wesley, Ernest Keith and Sharon Ethel. After Maynard's death in 1953 she married (2) Joseph Samuel Critelli in 1958 and they adopted a daughter Tanya Rhea

Carolyn Ann 'Beany' Critelli

Carolyn Ann 'Beany' Critelli was a dedicated nurse, worked as LPN in Deaconess and St. Vincent Hospitals and as a private duty nurse, retiring in 1972.
She enjoyed Bible study and her grandchildren and was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church and Nurses Association.
Mrs. Critelli, 76, of 730 Ave. F. died Monday in St. Vincent Hospital.
She was born in Red Lodge, a daughter of Frank and Lillie Darrow. She was educated in the Bearcreek-Red Lodge area by her grandparents, James and Candace Pauley.
She married Maynard S. Bean Aug. 2, 1924 in Billings; he died in 1953.
She married Joe Critelli Oct. 11, 1958 in Billings.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Sharon) Reinhardt of Montrose, Colo., and Tanya Critelli of Orlando, Fla.; four sons, Richard Bean of Lakeside, Tom Bean of Payette, Idaho, Vern Bean of Bellevue, Wash., and Ernie Bean of Great Falls; a step-son, Don Critelli of 546 Custer Ave.; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
