MORRIS H. FRAME
DIED LAST NIGHT

Morris H. Frame, an old and esteemed citizen of Keokuk, died at his home, 2100 Times street at 11 o'clock last evening, after a long illness of a complication of ailments.
Mr. Frame was born at Salem, Iowa October 16, 1847, but had been a teacher in Lee county for the past thirty-five years. September 4, 1872 he married to Miss Addie M. Brown of Ambrosia, Iowa. About seven years ago they came to Keokuk to reside and this place has continued to be their home.
He was a man of sterling qualities, pursuing his vocation as an earnest duty and was very successful as a teacher at which calling he was engaged in different points in the county, everywhere having the confidence and esteem of patrons and the respect and scholarly affection of his pupils. He has taught three generations in the same families in the county and had a large number of warm friends in this locality who will be deeply grieved to hear of his death.
He was a man of quiet habits and when in the city spent most of his time in the happy home circle. All his life he had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and bore himself in a manner consistent with the teachings of that Christian organization.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Adrian Frame of Fairfield and one daughter, Mrs. Ethel M. Miller of Keokuk; also by two brothers, George Frame of Fairfield, Iowa and Nathan T. Frame of Washington, D.C.
The funeral will be held at the family home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon to which friends are invited. The burial will be private.
