Stephen was the husband of Zana Irene Grove and Katie Horning. (Katie Elizabeth Earhart Horning remarried after his death)

Services from the Paul L Gravenor Home for Funerals, West Main at Church St., Ephrata, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Brickeville, Pa. Friends may call at the Gravenor Home for Funerals on Saturday evening.

Stephen D Edwards
Ephrata;
"Stephen Ditzler Edwards, 68, of 210 W Franklin street, died shortly after noon Thursday in Ephrata Community Hospital. He had been ill for 2 years.
Born in Brickerville, a son of Llewellyn and Mary Ditzler Edwards, he was a retired painter.
Mr. Edwards was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational church, and its Men's bible class.
He is survived by his widow, Katie E Horning Edwards; two daughters: Beatrice E wife of Rev Robert P Lutz, San Francisco, Calif., and Arlene M wife of Dr T W Stiegler, Wilmington, Del, and four grand children.
Also, a step daughter, Betty L wife of George Haggared. St Louis Mo.; a stepson J Richard Fritz Long Beach Calif., and five step grand children and a sister Mrs Harvey Balmer Ephrata, a brother Paul of Mount Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Paul L Gravenor Home for Funerals, The Rev H O Weaver and Rev L R Klinger officiating. Burial was in St John's Union church cemetery, Brickerville."
