Melvin O. Beam
-- ROCK HILL - Melvin O. Beam, 80, of Route 4, died Friday at a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.mp at Greene Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Laurelwood Cemetery.
Mr. Beam was a retired employee of Victoria Mill and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Melvin Beam, Edward Beam and Bobby Beam, all of Rock Hill; a brother, John Beam of Rock Hill; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Bell Coleman of Union; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Bobby Beam, Twin Lakes Road.
