Bennie Taylor, Sr.
-- McCONNELS - Bennie Franklin Taylor, Sr., 75, Route 1, died Saturday at Chester County Hospital in Chester.
Funeral services were to be 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill, with the Rev. R.T. McElveen officiating. Burial was to be at Roundtop Baptist Church cemetery near Washaw, N.C.
Mr. Taylor was a retired employee of Springs Farms.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva White Taylor; seven sons, Richard Taylor, Don Taylor, Gene Taylor and Marvin Ray Taylor, all of the home, Bennie F. Taylor Jr. of Charlotte, Sammy W. Taylor of Lowrys and Johnny W. Taylor of Fort Mill; three daughters, Maggie Weaver of Charlotte and Jessie Mae Beam and Gladys Beam, both of Rock Hill; three sisters, Kate Russell, Annie Hughes, Mary McCorkle, all of Fort Mill; 22 grand-children and 18 great-grandchildren.
