Florence was the daughter of Eric and Mildred Fors Johnson. She married Don L. Witmer in Galesburg, IL on August 12, 1961.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Steven E. Witmer; three brothers, John (Jo) Johnson, Phil (Eleanor) Johnson and Paul (Jackie) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, David Witmer on February 2, 1963.
She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1957. She lived in Galesburg her entire life and was a member of the First Lutheran Church Galesburg.
