My Uncle Norbie

Son of Katherine Dolecki Koper & John Koper.

He married Germaine "Virgie" Borchman on July 31, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan.

Diabetes kept him from serving in WWII along with his 5 brothers, Walter, John, Barney, Raymond, and Irvin.

Father of the late Norbert Koper, Jr. & Robert Allan Koper.

Grandfather of Tammy & Lisa Marie Koper.

He was a typical Koper.
He was a bowler, loved to play cards, & liked his beer. He probably liked to smoke a cigar, too.

We always thought that Uncle Norbie died from congestive heart failure & diabetes.
I ordered a death certificate & his cause of death is listed as compressed cervical spine. I guess he fell down the stairs at home.
Congestive heart failure & diabetes were listed as contributing factors to his death but not the cause.

Grave Unmarked. My Daddy, Irvin Koper, was going to make a marker this summer but he passed away on April 9, 2008.
