Treasured Abuelo and great grandfather to many. I would never be able to name everyone myself.
Speedy was the maternal grandfather to 2 of my nieces (Katrina Koper Hernandez and Monica Koper) & the great grandfather to my 2 great nieces (Briana and Karina) & my great nephew (Diego).
Speedy passed away just 23 hours prior to my Daddy, Irvin Koper. My pain was terrible but my poor nieces lost both of their Grandpas in 23 hours.
The two deaths in less than a 24 hour period has been devasting to both of our families that had been joined by my brother's marriage over 30 years ago. The marriage may have ended up in divorce, but the families NEVER did. Our family is unique like that.
We have mourned together for 2 wonderful men that we all loved and lost.
