Mary went to the Nardin Academy High School and Buffalo State College and later became a school teacher. However after getting every childhood illness her first year of teaching she decided "not for me." During the 2nd World War she went to work for the US Government testing all gasoline being used in Western NY for the military.
She was always trying everything new that she could and she loved people and children.
