I am the owner of the photos posted. Leonard Liveoak is my father.

Leonard was in the Pacific Theater during World War 2. He was a Master Sgt. while serving in the Army Air Force. He was a Ariel Engineer and was honorably discharged when the war was over.

Leonard married Helen Mae Varner on December 2, 1944. They later divorced. Leonard never remarried.

Leonard died at 35 years of age from being given an overdose of Paraldehyde for alcohol withdrawal symptoms while in the hospital. The nurse tried to revive him to no avail.

He was survived by three children, Helen Gale, Leonard Laddie, and Kenneth W.

On Leonard's birth certificate his name is Edgar Leonard Liveoak.

Leonard was 6' tall and weighed 171 lbs.
