Myrtie Lois married Kenneth L. "Buzz' Gregory on April 27, 1939 and they had three children, Jerry, Kay and Tony.
Myrtie Lois sang with her husband and her daughter, Jerry, for church revivals in their area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg and played the piano for services there. After she and Buzz moved to Lubbock in 1992, she was active in the music department at Grand Court Retirement Home.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her three children and their spouses; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
