Eva was survived by her sons and their wives, Wayne and Kay and Robert and Jane, her seven grandchildren and her six great grandchildren, along with her many friends from her Sunday school at Putnam City Baptist and her neighborhood.
This eulogy was written by her children:
"An artisan with her sewing machine, Mom was an exceptional seamstress. She loved her garden, her roses, and she loved to cook. She loved the simple things of this life such as quiet mornings, family birthdays, and games with her grandchildren, who adored her. Mom was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and Homemaker, a title she was proud to hold above all others. Her impact on her family was profound as she demonstrated her unfailing love and service until the last moments of her physical life. She was reluctant to leave this world due to her love for her remaining family. Mom was a gift from God to her family and to those who knew her. She demonstrated pure love due to her love for God and His spirit that was in her. Her love, commitment and care toward us will sustain us. We miss her today but we look forward with great anticipation to seeing her loving face and holding her hand once again."
The bio for Eva and the Igo family photos were provided by her son, Robert Ernest Igo.
