Ben John Larsen was born on November 25, 1959 in Houston, Texas to Otis Gene Larsen and Shirley Mac Ercanbrack. He has lived in the Sealy area for 20 years, where he was involved in the Sealy Booster Club. He was also president of the Sealy Little League for over 10 years. Ben John Larsen passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012, in Houston, at the age of 52 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Larsen; brothers, Kirby Larsen and Chris Sanders; nieces and nephews, Amanda Barbosa, Jason Larsen, and Mallory Larsen; as well as other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the Christian City Fellowship, in Sealy, with Pastor Rusty Griffin officiating. Interment in Sealy City Cemetery.
