Gregg and I rencently had a conversation where he said that he really loved me, as usual I asked him why. He said it's because you put up with me and all my BS. To which I responded, no, it's because I AM your BS (Beth Sturm) we both chuckled over that.

it had become norm that I would say to Gregg "you know what... and he's answer "WHAT" and I'd say "I LOVE YOU" to which he'd say "I Know that" then it moved to "Gregg, you know what..?" and he'd just say " I know, you love me" I'd say "Well ya, but thats not what I was going to say" to which we'd both laugh

Voice mail messages from Gregg where always began with "HI HON IT'S JUST ME".....

When ever I asked him a question he response was usually YES MY LOVE..........

We ALWAYS kissed each other good night, always said I LOVE YOU and NEVER EVER went to bed angry at each other.

I met Gregg on a blind date in late September 1996.we would marry 9 months later, and celebrate our 15th year of being together on September 28th, 2011. I wasn't sure if at first I actually LIKED him, he had on a tank top and red shorts and looked ... well sort of scruffy. We had a dinner of hot dogs and chips and I rather enjoyed his company. I remember what I wore, a blue skirt and a white top. I wanted to make an IMPRESSION on this guy. He told me later he was tickled that I dressed up for him. We mad arangements to meet again the next evening and had a rather nice evening. Even Greggs dog, Charlie, introduced himself by stealing a whole bag of marshmallows. Poor Charlie was contisipated for DAYS from eating all those marshmallows. I invited him to my house for dinner later that same week. I believe I made spaghetti and we watched a movie or something. Eventually he had to go home. After he left, I saw that he had left his wallet at my house. I hopped in my car and drove to his house w/ the wallet. I was just going to put the wallet in his caddy but then thought, WAIT, this guy has no way to get a hold of me, so I jotted a quick note, telling him how much I enjoyed our time and to call me. I didn't hear from him for about a week or so. The following Friday in around the 15th of October he called and asked me if I wanted to go to lunch. I was on CLOUD NINE and a half. Of course I wanted to go to lunch. We were to meet at 12:30 at Leverocks on the Beach. Well that didn't happen, I got lost. I did not arrive until after 2:30, he took his lunch then, even got in troble for it, but we had a marvolous time. We went out again Saturday to some Italian place. I remember I had spaghetti pie. The following week, he asked me if I wanted to go with him to do his Auto Trader Route Friday morning. Of course I did, any time I could spend w/ him I would jump at. Thank God I was off on Fridays. So many mishaps happened that day. We didn't finish the route until well over 9PM, I remember we talked and talked and talked about everything under the sun. Children, religion, politics, what we wanted out of life, etc etc. When he dropped me off later that night and walked te to my door, he held my hands and he kissed me under the porch light, my knees went weak and butterflies flew in my stomach and I KNEW I was in LOVE! On December 22, 1996 Gregg told me that he LOVED me. I was on my way to NY and then did not want to go! We had 15 amazing years together, not the life time we wanted but I always always always knew that Gregg loved me. He didn't drink, smoke, do drugs, beat me, cheat or cheat on me. He worked and brought his money home for US. I am so blessed to have been loved by this man and I will miss him eternally. I will love you til I stop breathing Gregg, as I promised you, I will never date or marry again my love.
Love always,
your devoted wife,
Beth
