Kenneth Leroy Brown was born on Easter Sunday, April 8, 1917 to parents Lloyd Dilts Brown Sr.(1886-1966) and Edna Mae Burns(1889-1964).
He was the third born of six sons. His siblings were: John Francis, Lloyd Dilts Jr., Baby boy, James Nelson and Tom Lee.

In 1918, Kenneth, his parents and two older brothers would move to Cleveland, Ohio. His Father Lloyd Dilts Brown Sr. went to work in the steel mills. His mother taught the boys an appreciation for music. She would play the piano while the boys would sing. Some of my favorite memories are of my Dad singing with his brothers.

As a young boy he would work and live at his Uncle Alex's farm in Columbia Station, Ohio. He did everything from cleaning barns to feeding the animals and repairing the fences. One of the favorite things he loved about the farm was riding the work horses. He also worked, helping to deliver ice to residential homes in the Cleveland area.

He suffered tuberculosis in the 1940's and spent 18 months at Sunny Acres Hospital where he awaited the finding of quinine to cure his TB. Prior to the use of quinine at that time many TB patients died.

Kenneth met his wife Anna "Peggy" Eagens(1921-2001) at a party where they were introduced by her sister. They would marry on Novemeber 27, 1948 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
They would raise 5 children together, have 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In 1998 Ken & Peggy renewed their vows on their 50th Weddding Anniversary, with all of their family and friends attending a mass and celebration.

Kenneth would die less than a year after his beloved Peggy on September 5, 2002. He is laid to rest along side his Peggy at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142, (216 267-2850).

My Father's Angel Wings
Ever unfolding,
like Angel's radiant wings,
Is the magical love and kindness,
that a dear Father Brings.

Ever unfailing,
As the sea that beats the shore,
Is the special care given to me,
that will grow forever more.

Ever timeless like a feather,
falling gently through the air,
Is the love of my dear Father
To which nothing can compare.
