William Cox was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Kinnan) Cox. He died at the age of 45 and his wife, Margaret (Mount) Cox, and seven of their eight children moved to Warren County, Ohio, where he had previously purchased land. Margaret is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Warren County, Ohio.
