Brimfield – Jason M. Cusack, 21, of 11217 Roseland Lane, died at 6:04 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Danville Veterans Hospital.
He was born on May 24, 1989, in Peoria, to Randy (Tina) Cusack and Debbie (Josh) Rynearson. They survive.
Other survivors include two brothers, Alex (Sarah) Cusack of Oak Hill and Brandon Fraser of East Peoria; three sisters, Abigail McNethy, Kaitlin and Grayson Rynearson all of Oak Hill; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Sandra Cusack of Brimfield; maternal grandparents Earl (the late Frances) Snider; and maternal step-grandparents Alan (Lynn) Rynearson. He was preceeded in death by his maternal great grandmother Marie Cusack. He served in the U.S. Army infantry for 3 years where he received many medals including the Purple Heart. He enjoyed dirt track racing with his father, grandparents, uncle and cousins. He also enjoyed fishing and riding dirt bikes with his sisters, and stepdad. His dad brother Alex is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Jason attended Elmwood High School where he was a state champion in the high jump. He also enjoyed school football and basketball. Jason was most proud of the fact he served his country. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood with the Rev. Dennis Fitzgerald officiating. A visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 at the funeral home. Memorals may be made to the Family C/O Brimfield State Bank.
