Dear Sweet Mother
My dear sweet mother, your love was like no other.
You are the lucky one to wake in paradise as we speak, you have glory in your eyes.
Your soul and body will be new, your time may have been short yet God has blessed you.
I want you to know you have done your part, from now on you will always have peace in your heart.
Always remembering the sweetness in your face.
Always giving us so much love and grace.
I'll never forget how you always had open arms to caress us. Giving and taking care of your family was a must. You are not gone or lost just reborn. We will celebrate your life not mourn.
Life will not be the same, there will always be beauty in your name.
My love and memories for you will never die, to say I won't be lost without you would be a lie.
Time will dry our tears, but we have had you for many years.
One day you will take me by the hand and we will walk that promised land.
Your memories will always bring singing to my heart, and tears to my face, but we will never be apart.
You are here within, and always will be, everything I am, you gave me...
We love you and will miss you forever and always

Death is Nothing At All

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.

Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere.
Very near.
Just around the corner.

All is well.
