~~ OUR PRECIOUS LITTLE DAVID ~~~

In Loving Memory, of my sweet sweet Nephew David. He was born on March 8, 1984, in La Mesa, San Diego Co., CA., to Jimmie Wayne Sr. and Violet Christine (Sharum) Coleman. When David came home from the hospital, I was there to hold him, and to see his big smile. He was a beautiful baby boy and perfect in every way. At the beginning of April of 1984, David would moved to Denison TX., with his father, mother, older sister Violet II and older brother Jimmie Wayne Jr. It was there where he would spend his first and last holiday, "EASTER". On May 1, 1884, little David would go to the doctors for his first check up and get his D.P.T. shot. The doctor said he was in good health. The next morning on May 2nd, his mother woke up, and wondered why David didn't wake up for his 4:00 a.m. feeding. It was then that they relized that Jesus had come and taken their precious son in his sleep. We later found out, that in the mid 1980's, that a bad dose of D.P.T. shots had been given to many babies and small children, and that people were suing companies. We talked about what could do about it their sons death. But my sister said that David had already been laid to rest, and she left things alone. We will always miss our Precious Little David.

~~ FROM YOUR LITTLE ANGEL ~~

I'LL BE THERE

Daddy, please don't look so sad,
mama please don't cry
Cause I am in the arms of Jesus
and he's singing me lullabies.
Please, try not to question God,
Don't think He is unkind
Don't think He sent me to you,
and then He changed his mind.
You'll see, I am a special child,
and I'm needed up above
I'm the special gift you gave Him,
the product of your love.
I'll always be there with you
and watch the sky at night.
Find the brightest star that's gleaming.
That's my halo's brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost,
that mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers,
I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a little breeze,
from a gentle wind that blows
That's me I'll be there,
planting a kiss on your nose.
When you see a child playing,
and your heart feels a little tug.
That's me I'll be there giving your heart a hug.
So Daddy, please don't look so sad, Mama don't cry.
I'm in the arms of Jesus and He singing me lullabies

CAUSE OF DEATH:

David's parents were told that he died from (S.I.D.S) Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

But we will always believe in our hearts, that it was the D.P.T. shots that he had received the day before his death.

Also survived by maternal grandfather Jeremiah Jacob Sharum Jr., and Athena M. Sharum and paternal grandparents James Willis Coleman and Dianna (Coleman) Peters and step-grandfather Weslet John Peters, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
