Sgt. Leslie Henry was killed in WWII.He was out-going, smart, and fun to be around. Leslie was in the CCC when the War broke out. He joined up and with his training he was soon sent overseas and that's the last we saw of him.
I remember in 1940/ 1941 when he was home for the weekend he'd come for us (his cousin, my sister and me) for dinner with his family. In the afternoon he'd drive us home before returning to CCC Camp in Starksville.
