Stewart Reid Corl, Sr., 79, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born October 14, 1930, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late William and Evelyn (Shumaker) Corl. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ann Margaret Corl, and a brother, William Corl.
Mr. Corl was a veteran having served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Stewart had worked as a salesman for Ebert's Paint. He also worked for Sherwin Williams Paint Co. for 15 years.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Kathleen (Brenneman) Corl of Carlisle; two sons, Stewart Corl, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Carlisle, and Stephen Corl and his fiancee, Victoria Varley, of OH; four daughters, Vicki Brickner and her husband, Lester, of Carlisle, Connie Steinour and her husband, Dennis, of Carlisle, Margaret Lori and her companion, Roy Price, of Mechanicsburg, Cynthia Raudabaugh and her husband, William, of Landisburg; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Corl, of FL.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, 1:00 pm, at Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013.
