(Cecilia, Celia)
Celia was the daughter of Seth (Ed) and Eseline Woodbeck Brewer.
Celias siblings:
Burton (married Lizzie Hall)
Eva (married David Smith)
Cora (married Albert Albee)
George
Emma
Celia Brewer married John Burrell and together they had three children:
Ella (married a Charlie Redner)
James (never married)
Sylvester (my father)
Grandpa John Burrell died April 29, 1909.
Census records show that Grandma Celia left Tuscarora, NY with my father (then 8) and Uncle Jim (then 18) and went to Carlton, NY by 1910.
Uncle Jim suffered from epileptic seizures but back then they had no name for the seizures. Grandma Celia kept Uncle Jim close by her side....Death Records show that Grandma Celia died on May 5, 1911....so she kept Uncle Jim and my Dad right by her side until her death.
Records show that my Uncle Jim was admitted to Craig Colony (for people who suffered from seizures and epilepsy) on October 7, 1912. Those dates show me how dedicated my Grandma Celia was to her children.
Grandma Celia Brewer Burrell died May 5, 1911 in Carlton, NY.
