Miss Catherine Hape and Mr. Eugene F. King were married at St. Philips church at 11 o'clcok, a.m. , Tuesday, and left on the noon train for Boston and other points east. Mrs. King is a charming young woman and Mr. King is connected with the Fidelity and Casualty Company.

Eugene Francis and Sarah Catherine "Kate" (Hape) King, Sr. had 2 children and they were:

1. Estelle Hape King (m. William Franklin Collar, Jr.)
2. Eugene Francis "Gene" King, Jr. (m. Mildred Hunt "Mimi" Brown)

Funeral services for Mrs. E. F. King of 3728 Union Ave., Hapeville, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Spring Hill with Rev. Cortez A. Cooper, Jr. officiating. Burieal will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs King died Thursday at her home. She was 86. Born in Atlanta, she had spent most of her life in Hapeville. She was the former Sarah Catherine Hape and the daughter of the late Dr. Samuel Hape after whom the city of Hapeville was named.

Mrs. King was a member of both the Hapeville Garden and Women's Clubs and Cathedral of St. Philip, Episcopal in Atlanta.

Survivors include her widower, a daughter, Mrs. William F. Collar, Jr, Austell, and a son, Eugene F. King, Jr., Hapeville.

The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. King, Sr., Hapeville; Mr. and Mrs. William F. Collar, Jr., Austell; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. King, Jr., Miss Carol E. King, all of Hapeville; Dr. and Mrs. Allen Bunce; Judge Quincy Arnold, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Eugene F. (Sarah Catherine Hape) King, Sr. The pallbearers will be: Mr. Thomas Lewis, Mr. Walter Tripod, Mr. A. J. Upchurch, Jr., Mr. Joseph M. Gardner, Prof. W. R. Metcalfe, Mr. James B. Haydon.
