"George Kimmel died at his residence near the Amick school house on Tull's Hill on Wednesday last, May 12th at the age of 54 years 3 months and 7 days. Interment took place on Friday in the Kinton Cemetery near Mann's Choice. Rev. William Garver, of near Roaring Spring conducted the services."

George Kimmel on Wednesday, May 12, George Kimmel died at his home in Napier township, Bedford county. Deceased was a son of Jacob and Mary Kimmel, both deceased, and was born February 26, 1866. On April 29, 1886, he was married to Annie Bagley. In April, 1902, they moved to Napier township, where they have since resided.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Grover Dull and C. W. Kimmel, of Claysburg; Mrs. Mary Kahle, of Altoona; Mrs. Warren McClure, of Roaring Spring; Mrs. C. Smith, of Chelbitsville, Bedford county; Mrs. D. R. Long and George Kimmel, Jr., at home. Two daughters, Hattie and Ella May, preceded him to the spirit world. The funeral was held at his late home on Friday morning of last week, the services being conducted by his pastor, Rev. C. W. Garber, of Roaring Spring. Interment was made in Mount Olivet cemetery, near Mann's Choice.
A loved one is taken from the home; gone to meet the loved ones over there, where there will be no farewell tears, and no good byes.
