Staff Sgt. Daniel P. Dupre of Lockport, Louisiana attended Central Lafourche High School where he was an active member of the school's Junior ROTC. He knew then that he was headed for a military career. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joycelyn Dupre. He is survived by his wife, Crystal and son, Daniel; a sister, Nicole; and his grandparents, Delvin P. Dupre Sr. and Hilda Triche Dupre. Danny was shot as he stood in the doorway of a police station in Bagdad. He was 28.
