She was said to be a hard worker and always had company for dinner. Many people in the Little Snake River Valley ate at her home. She was in a wheel chair the last few years of her life. She even served dinner to Butch Cassidy and Sundance at her home many times as they passed through. The Gang also took horses from Charles and his family. Charles and his family went out and captured wild horses and then broke them and sold them. The Coles hid their tackle under their beds, so no one would take them.
