I came across Charlie when I was working at a Shelter in Arlington, Wa. The shelter had neglected him..He was a Feral cat who had herpes in the eyes and I came across him when I went to clean out his cage (the shelter has since been shut down). I was so upset because his eyes had popped out of their sockets they were so infected. I took him to the emergency room and spent $1000 on this stray cat and he was worth every penny. From day one he chose to trust me and within a matter of 4 weeks, we were able to save 1 eye. For the following 3 years, Charlie brought nothing but joy and unconditional love to me and his 2 cat sisters. He was relentless in gaining their love. He had quite the Pussinality. He loved to play in dirty fireplaces, eat Meox mix junk cat food, chase his sisters around the house, tear holes in the window screens (and escape), and chew on Vacuum Cleaner cords. His favorite toy was his tiger toy.

Charlie dissapeared in June 2004. He was let out in the morning and never came home. Since he had very feral tendencies and was afraid of people, I can only assume he was killed by a coyote but I'm praying I'm wrong.

Its been 5 years but it feels like it happened yesterday and I have not been able to get another cat since. I've tried but I'm too emotional. His sisters and I miss him very much and we love him to no end.

God Bless you Chaweee. We love you. We'll see you in heaven.
