OBITUARY OF MRS. GEO. KELLEY
Ella Frances Bean was born May 5, 1851 in the state of Maine died at her old home, near Udell, July 2, 1914: aged 63 years, 1 mo., 29 days.
She was married to Geo. Kelley in 1868, at Charion, Ia. To this union 10 children were born, 5 girls and 5 boys; two boys, Charlie and George, dying in infancy. Those living are Mrs. Nellie Cooke, Seattle, Wash; Mrs. Eva Horsh, Seally, Tex; Mrs. Clista Waddel, S. Dak ; Mrs. Pearla Rumbly, Oklahoma; Mrs Sarah Weloch, Scranton, Pa.; William, Udell; Albian, Ottumwa, and Roy of Scranton, Pa. All were present at the funeral except the oldest and the youngest.
The funeral services were conducted at Beulah, Sunday morning, by Rev. N. A. Orcutt; with interment at Mt. Ararat cemetery, by the side of her husband who died In 1903.
Mrs. Kelley, with her husband, moved to the place, where she died, 36 years ago and has made it her home ever since, but has spent the most of time with her children, the past three years. Twenty years ago she and her husband, united with the M. E. church at Beulah, and though not meeting with the class for some time, in her last illness gave assurance of all being well with her soul. In her death Beulah loses a member, the community a kind neighbor, and the family a loving mother.
"One by one their seats were emptied,
One by one they went away:
Now the family is parted,
Will it be complete one day?
Will the Circle be unbroken, by and by;
Is a better home awaiting, in the sky?"
We thank the neighbors for their kindness in the illness and death of our dear mother.
