So much to say.
First saw Penny on the Friends of Rowlett Animals Facebook Page in March 2016. Wanted her and Bernard said we did not need another dog. Her story was heartbreaking. Originally from Tecumsah, Oklahoma - Penny's owners were put into a nursing home and she was given to the Animal Shelter. I could not stand not - and her eyes... something about here eyes.. I tried to forget her...
Then in June - there she was again! Penny had been abandoned by her adoptive family. She was adopted at Bass Pro in Rowlett only to be dumped at the Garland Animal Shelter. I did not ASK! I went and adopted her at once! June 7th - I paid the fees and picked her up on June 8th. We had to take an immediate roadtrip to College Station that June 9th, so we took Penny and Blukus with us.
