Matthew Bell died in the worst car crash in Dallas, TX history in 2000.
Matthew was the son of John Charles "Big Charlie" and Deborah Jo (Floyd) Bell. He was 1 of 4 children:
John Charles (Little Charlie) Bell
Amber Aileen (Bell) Retkofsky
Raymond Luther Bell
He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather Guy Raymond Floyd, Sr.
and his paternal Grandmother Leta Bell. His Beloved
Great-Grandfather Papa - Arthur Tom Floyd, Sr. left this world in 1991.
Matthew's own cousin Michael Wayne Floyd Jr. - Mikey, was killed in a crash in 1996.
Matt was a graduate of Paschall High School. He was a star football player - A FORCE to be reckoned with. He was massive and when he stopped you - you knew it!
He had just bought his own home for himself and his black lab "Scout". The friends went out to celebrate a birthday - they all worked together. They never made it home. Matt was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers Guy Raymond Floyd and Julius Bell.
Matt had just become an Uncle to Baby John Charles Bell, III - "Chase" - he was ecstatic and vowed to make him really tough on and off the football field. He loved his new nephew.
God Bless each one of the souls that left us that night to go home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amber and Jared Retkofsky have beautiful daughters - Presley Reise born Fall, 2010 and Kendall in October 2013. 2016 has brought the birth of Jet Matthew -- named in honor of Uncle Matthew who will always be his guardian angel.. No tears in Heaven...
