Eddie was born on March 1, 1954 in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Edward E. Cadieu Sr. and the late Kathleen Estee Cadieu. Known to many as "Coach Eddie," he spent countless hours investing in the lives of young people through coaching girls softball. He also worked with youth for many years through the bus ministry and teen outreach of Grace Baptist Church. Eddie will long be remembered as a man loved the Lord and his family.
He is survived by his wife: Frances E. Cadieu; children: David E. Cadieu, Christin M. Cadieu and Candace A. Cadieu. He is also survived by his sisters and their families: Sue Etheridge, Carolyn (Jerry) Price and Judy (Ned) Gwin.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Moseley Funeral Home of West Columbia. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 6 - 9 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 416 Denham Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169 with internment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens.
