Joe was my dad, not by blood but by love. He was stationed at an army base in Babenhausen Germany where he met my mother. She followed him to the USA and married him Dec. 23, 1967 in Wayne Co. MI.
They were married for 31 years. He was diagnosed with Lung cancer and shortly after died at Ann Arbor, MI Veterans Hospital.
He served in the US Army and was stationed, among other places, in Germany, Italy, Korea and Oklahoma.
