Ms. Rhonda Veleria Altman, 32, died Monday morning (April 28, 2003) at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick after a short illness.
She is a native of Waycross, but she has resided in Brunswick the past seven years. She was a taxi driver for Courtesy Cab.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cyress and Gertrude ''Gertie'' Altman.
She is survived by her mother, Veleria Snyder of Waycross; her father, Gilbert Altman (wife Darcile) of Waycross; three children, Victoria Altman, Tyler and Taylor Cornett of Brunswick; two brothers, Ronald Altman of Waycross, and Donald Altman of Summerfield, FL; grandmother, Darcus Lucas of Waycross; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rhonda is my sister in law.
But we thought of each other
as sisters for life.
We where always together.
Our children played together
every day,those where the days.
We where best friend did everythang
together and some people got jealous.
I loved her then and i still do just as much.
