Brookie was born in early 1985 in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire where i lived until 1990,s , we moved to London and Brookie was rehomed with a family who owned a Pub, Brookie was extremely energitic, i regulary went on walks for 3 hours across countryside with the two of them ,i wanted her to still have a country life rather than a more cooped up in a london flat one.
I still feel that i let her down, in my heart she will always be my dog.
Lizzie was born in August 1985, Brookie didnt travel well in the car at all, so we got lizzie to help her which it did, Lizzie was the runt of the litter, she looked really tiny and malnourished with a big scratch on her head, my heart went out to her and i fed her Farleys rusks and swiss formula baby food as a puppy, she grew into a very healthy dog and had a long life of 16 years.
