Botkin, Richard A, age 60, of Land O'Lakes, FL died Thursday at Hospice House in Hudson, FL.

He was the only child of Jesse Elmer Botkin and Wavie Madeline Rench. A native of Lincoln, IL, he moved to this area 11 years ago from Frankfort, IL.

He was a maintenance employee at Paradise Lakes and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

He is survived by a son, Richard A, Jr. of Eugene, OR; two daughters, Rita A (Joseph) Bomher of Lake Villa, IL and Linda M (Pete) Carpenter of Clearwater, FL. and three grandchildren, Cassie, Chelsea and Maddie.
