Richard G. "Jerry" Link, 79, passed away on May 8, 2012 , in San Diego, California. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on January 23, 1933. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a young man and achieved the rank of Major.

About a decade ago, after a long career as a financial consultant and broker, Jerry and his wife, Patsy, moved from Phoenix, Arizona, to San Diego. He loved the community, the view of the harbor, walking in the early morning solitude and visiting with his many, many friends over coffee. One of his favorite stops was the Brickyard Coffee Shop.

Jerry was cremated and his ashes inurned at the Ft. Rosecrans Nat'l Cemetery in San Diego.

Jerry is survived by his wife Patti and daughter Cathy.

Donations can be made in his honor to Monarch School.
