Ronald's Father: Johnnie Burkhart, died in the late 1950's he was electrocuted by some power lines while working at dig a well, in Harlan Ky.

Ronald's Mother: Grace (Farley) Burkhart, Moved to Oregon soon after, and is still living in Albany, Or, and is very active with the American Legion.

Ronald's Brother: Johnnie Burkhart Jr. is also still here in Oregon, I think in or near Salem.

Ronald also had an uncle George Burkhart in Harlan Ky.
