Helen Laws Hunnicutt the daughter of Oscar L. and Monnie Laws. Helen was born and raised in Burke County, NC. Helen married Charles Hunnicutt and they had 9 children:

William E. Hunnicutt (died at birth)
Carole Jean Hunnicutt Jarvis
Barbara Anne Hunnicutt Edwards
Mary P. Hunnicutt (died at 6 months of age)
Arthur Lee Hunnicutt
Charles Wayne Hunnicutt
Gary Dean Hunnicutt
Troy Leonard Hunnicutt
Linda Gayle Hunnicutt

Helen was the matriarch of the Hunnicutt family and is deeply missed by all!

To Mom with love:

MOTHER
Someone who loves her children
Better than life itself.
Always doing what's best for them
Not worrying about herself.

Sometimes she had it very hard
But she always found a way.
Cooking food, making clothes
took most of her day.

She always taught us right from wrong
And got a great reward.
Seven fine children
Whom she knew was pleasing to the Lord.

When she had to leave us
We were so very sad.
Never to see our Mom again
It hurt us all so bad.

But God knew it was time
For her to be at rest.
He took her up to Heaven
For He knows what is best.

We'll see her up in Heaven
When we get our great reward.
Then we'll all be together again
Forever with the Lord.

Love,
Bobbie
