Ranie was a very active woman, full of joy and love of life. When she moved to Minnesota a year ago to live near one of her daughters, she lived in an assisted living facility and immediately got to know everyone living there. She joined committees, went to happy hours, and even took up ceramics.

She loved being near family, and shopped, went out to eat, and enjoyed the holidays with them. Even in her last week of life, she continued to go to the memory care unit in her building to read to the people there.

Ranie is survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters, their spouses & children, and her 2 newly born great-grandsons, whom she bragged about whenever anyone would listen.

She was a wonderful woman, but is now with her husband again in heaven. She lost him 13 years ago and missed him every day.

Rest in peace, Ranie.
