Sid served as a B-17 Navigator with the 8th Air Force, 384th Bomb Group, 545th Bomb Squadron in England during WWII. He flew 20 bombing missions over Occupied Europe and was awarded the Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters.

Pulled over to the side of the road with chest pain on his way to work and died there. Loving husband of my Aunt Ruthie & father of my cousins Steve, Jon and Jill. My wonderful uncle, only 51 years old. Gone much too soon.
